TERMS & CONDITIONS 

Make Yourself Heard 

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in Make Yourself Heard (the “Contest”), organized by Pakistan Tobacco Company (“PTC” or the “Organiser”). By entering, participants ("Entrants") agree to be bound by these Terms. 

CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest runs from September 1, 2026 to 23 October, 2026 . Entries received outside this period will not be considered. 

ELIGIBILITY

 For a chance to win, you must; 
•    Be 25 years of age or older; 
•    Be a nicotine product user; 
•    Be based in Pakistan

Shortlisted participants must provide proof that they are at least 25 years old and are current nicotine product users. The Organizer may disqualify any Entrant who does not complete or pass such verification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

Entrants may  enter by: 

•    Posting an original video singing or playing an instrument(s) on Instagram, Facebook and/or Youtube using the hashtag “#MakeYourselfHeard” and tag Velo Pakistan across socials;
or  
•    Sending the video via Instagram/Facebook DM to @velo.pakistan if the Entrant’s account is private. 

Entries must: 

•    Feature the Entrant singing/playing an instrument
•    Be respectful and not contain unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, harassing, abusive or otherwise prohibited content;
•    Include only persons who have given informed consent to appear and to the uses described in these Terms;
•    Be original, not be lip-synced, and not include music, performances, images, trademarks or other third-party copyrighted material unless the Entrant has all necessary permissions;

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

License: Entrants grant the Organizers a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, publish, and display their submission, name, image, likeness, and voice across all media and promotional channels. 

Ownership: Entrants retain copyright ownership but grant the above license without further approval or compensation. 

Warranties: Entrants warrant they own or have permission to use all content submitted and agree to indemnify the Organizers against any related claims. 

COMPENSATION

Entrants are not entitled to royalties, fees, or compensation for use of their submissions. 
Organizers are not liable to pay the entrants for any monetised use of the submissions. 
Any performance opportunities are non-cash, discretionary, and do not constitute compensation. 

SELECTION 

All selection decisions are final and at the Organizers' sole discretion. Entrants cannot challenge or request disclosure of the selection process or decisions. 
The Organizers may contact Entrants at any time through any communication method for purposes related to Make Yourself Heard. By entering, Entrants consent to such communications. The Organizers may announce participants or winners through any communication channel at their discretion. 
Entry does not guarantee selection, advancement, or any benefit. 

DISQUALIFICATION 

 The Organizer may disqualify an Entrant for (including but not limited to) any of the following:
•    Ineligibility
•    False information
•    Offensive or unlawful content
•    Intellectual property infringement
•    Harassment or abusive conduct
•    Promotion of competing brands or unauthorized commercial content
•    Failure to complete age verification
•    Violation of applicable laws, platform rules, or BAT policies

PRIVACY

Entrants consent to the collection and processing of personal information for Contest administration. 
Information may be shared with BAT affiliates, service providers, or authorities where required. Age-verification status may be retained in the Organizer’s systems for record-keeping and audit purposes.
Entrants consent to being contacted by the Organizers at any time regarding Make Yourself Heard, including administration, promotional activities, and marketing communications. 

LIABILITY

The Organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, technical failure, or claim arising from participation or use of submissions. The Organizer shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation, technical failure, or authorized use of submissions.
Entrants agree to indemnify the Organizers against claims and losses arising from their participation or breach of these Terms, including breach of the warranties relating to ownership, permissions and lawful content,

CHANGES TO THE CONTEST 

The Organizers may amend these Terms or cancel, suspend, postpone, or modify the Contest at any time without liability. 
In the event of cancellation, suspension, or modification of the Contest, the Organizers shall not be liable for any damages, losses, expenses, or liability to Entrants, including without limitation the cost of entry, opportunity costs, or consequential damages.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE 

The Contest is conducted in accordance with applicable Pakistani laws and organizer policies. It is intended solely for adult nicotine product users. The Organizer may reject or remove any submission that does not comply with these Terms, applicable law, platform rules or the organizer policies.

RELATIONSHIP OF PARTIES

 Participation does not create any employment, partnership, agency, or other legal relationship. Entrants may not use the Organizers' names, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission. 

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By entering Make Yourself Heard , Entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
